A stroke is simply when blood stops flowing to your brain — either because of a clot (ischemic) or bleeding (hemorrhagic).
When that happens, your brain tissue starts dying… in minutes.
Blood carries oxygen, nutrients and of course the blood fuel- Glucose to your brain.
So when that blood stops entering your brain efficiently for whatever the reason, your brain cells begin to die rapidly,
That is a stroke.
1 in 7 strokes occur in people aged 15–49.
1. Uncontrolled High Blood Pressure (Hypertension)
Most people with high BP don’t even know they have it.
It quietly damages your arteries until a stroke explodes out of nowhere!
If I’ve ever asked you to check your BP frequently this is also why.
And if you discover you have hypertension after all, don’t panic just work closely with your herbalist who will make you the necessary supplements.
Your own part is to take them.
2. Smoking & Vaping
Even secondhand smoking increases your stroke risk.
Smoke has the ability to narrow your blood vessels and make your blood more likely to clot.
When it clots what is likely to happen? Stroke.
3. Poor Diet & Obesity
Too much salt, fried food, processed carbs and JUNK FOOD leads to high cholesterol and blood sugar.
High cholesterol and blood sugar leads to high BP and diabetes — both of these are the biggest stroke triggers.
4. Alcohol & Drug Use
Cocaine, amphetamines(ice), and heavy alcohol use can trigger sudden strokes — even in teenagers.
At least 1 million stroke cases are linked with excessive alcohol drinking.

5. Sedentary Lifestyle + Stress
Too much sitting prevents blood from flowing properly, add chronic stress? = a cocktail of high BP, inflammation, and artery damage. Which can easily cause a stroke.
